MONSTER Director Patty Jenkins Bows Out THOR 2!

First, Kenneth Branagh didn't return to direct THOR 2. Now comes another disappointing news that new director on the helm, Patty Jenkins (MONSTER), who was confirmed to direct THOR 2 in late September, has left the sequel due to creative differences with the Marvel studio.

Marvel is already looking for a new director, especially since THOR 2 is scheduled to be released as early as November 15, 2013.

In the meantime, it is believed that Patty Jenkins may still direct a superhero movie for Marvel, except that it won't be a sequel.
