Holly Celeb Angelina Jolie To Direct Her Second Film

Angelina Jolie is in talks to direct her second film, world war II drama Unbroken with Universal studios and Walden Media. The story of the film follows an Olympian and war veteran Louis Zamperini, who survived 47days on a raft for weeks after a plane crash and later was captured by the Japanese. The film is an adaptation of the 2010 book by Laura Hillenbrand. William Nicholson wrote the script for the film. Angelina Jolie’s directorial debut is the latest release “In the Land of Blood and Honey“.

Angelina Jolie gave a statement, “I read Laura Hillenbrand’s brilliant book, and I was so moved by Louie Zamperini’s heroic story, I immediately began to fight for the opportunity to make this film” ,“Louie is a true hero and a man of immense humanity, faith and courage. I am deeply honored to have the chance to tell his inspiring story.” The film Unbroken, will start shoot by early month of next year.
