'Jai Ho' Song Tamil Verson is Coming Up

A.R. Rahman’s Oscar and Grammy award winning song for Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire, ‘Jai Ho’, will have its Tamil version coming up. The song was originally recorded in Hindi for the Hollywood film, and later the rights were acquired by The Pussycat Dolls to do an English version of the same tune, which also featured Rahman himself.

Rahman, who will be performing a Live concert in Chennai later today, announced that Jai Ho will be a part of his playlist for the evening, but it will be sung in Tamil by Ishrath, Rayahna and the rest of his group. The concert will feature only Rahman’s Tamil songs as part of the show’s theme.
