Commercial director Perarasu, whose last outing Thiruthani fared poorly at the box office seems to have kicked up a storm amidst Rajini supporters. In a recent interview to a leading magazine he said that he had a story ready for Superstar Rajinikanth and even decided on calling the film Sengikottai.
Rajini fans were reportedly unamused by the director’s proposal to Rajini and have supposedly sent out a message to Perarasu and others to refrain from misusing Rajini’s name for the sake of publicity.
