Riteish Deshmukh and Genilia are getting married

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza love story is all set to find its ‘happily ever’ ending. The actors who met during their debut film Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003 will tie the knot in February 2012.


It is official now. Riteish Deshmukh and Genilia are getting married and the wedding date being reported is February 4th. After getting engaged in a private ceremony, the two will get hitched this February 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in Mumbai.

Genelia and Riteish first acted together in ‘Tujhe Meri Kasam’. Earlier when Genelia was questioned, she herself had denied any plans of marriage in the near future saying she wanted to concentrate on her film career for the moment. However it is now known that there has been no objection from Ritesh and his family members on Genie’s wish of holding tightly to her movie career even after marriage.

Both families want the marriage ceremony to be a private affair. It is also known that there was some real convincing needed when things came out in the public about Ritesh and Genelia affair.

Invitations will be sent to the Bachchans, Karan Johar, Ram Gopal Varma, Imran Khan, and Boman Irani to name a few. The couple have booked the hotel for three days giving them a weekend of celebrations to plan. There has been intense speculation over the personal lives of these two since quite a long time and this announcement finally brings the curtains down on speculations surrounding this love story.

D’Souza and Deshmukh have been romantically linked since September, when they filmed their third film together. Producer Ramesh Tamauri said that the couple had “sparkling chemistry” together but refused to confirm whether they were dating.

The couple will soon be seen in the movie ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’, which is slated for release in 2012.
