Is Anushka playing Mahesh’s sis-in-law?

    Dil Raju’s upcoming film “Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu”, which will see actors Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu playing brothers and sharing screen space for the first time, is creating buzz for quite a different reason. While Samantha’s lead role opposite Mahesh Babu has been finalized, the producers are facing a tough time trying to find the right actress to star opposite Venky and as a result, the film is likely to go on floors only in December. 

    According to sources, Dil Raju had approached Trisha, Nayanathara, Sneha, Bhumika and others. However, all of them turned down the role citing different reasons, but sources say that the real reason is because these actresses do not want to be seen playing sister-inlaw to Mahesh Babu. Our source adds, “The producers even contacted Madhuri Dixit, but it seems she is not interested.” 


    The latest buzz doing the rounds is that the producers are trying to rope in Anushka for the role. “Yes, they approached her for this character,” confirms Anushka’s manager. 

    When contacted, Dil Raju said, “We will finalize the actress in one or two days.” Now, does that mean Anushka, said ‘yes’?
