Controversial UK Director Ken Russell Dies At 84

Veteran UK director Ken Russell has passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday afternoon. He was 84.

Back in the late 60's right down to early '90s, Ken Russell was one of the most daring directors who didn't afraid of courting controversy among the critics and audiences. Such much-debated controversial movies he had made during his illustrious careers were WOMEN IN LOVE (1969), THE DEVILS (1971), ALTERED STATES (1980), and WHORE (1991).
